Two people involved with missing Buffalo girls cleared of wrongdoing

Two people have been cleared of wrongdoing after they spoke with detectives about two missing girls who were found Tuesday, Buffalo Police reported Wednesday evening.

"They were good Samaritans that took two children in from the cold and alerted authorities when they learned what had happened," police said.

The girls were found safe Tuesday morning in an apartment on Langfield Drive, police said, and were in good health. They were located after city officials held a news conference Tuesday asking for help from the public.
