Another huge game on the ground enabled Harding (1-0, 1-0 Great American Conference) to dominate at Ranger Field in Alva, Okla.
Andrew Miller carried 12 times for 94 yards and scored on a 31-yard run for the Bisons, who racked up 484 of their 547 yards on the ground. Eleven other players had at least 15 yards rushing, while five scoring touchdowns. Cole Keylon also tossed a 31-yard touchdown to Drew Porter in the victory.
Harding, which led 35-0 at halftime, held Northwestern Oklahoma State (0-1, 0-1) to 66 yards. The Rangers' lone score came on an 80-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Aiden Lewis with 2:45 left to go in the game.
EAST CENTRAL (OKLA.) 24,
OUACHITA BAPTIST 22
Gabriel Ogura hit a 24-yard field goal on the last play of the game to lead East Central (Okla.) to an upset at Koi Ishto Stadium in Ada, Okla.
East Central led 7-0 in the first quarter on a 31-yard touchdown run from Cade Searcy, but OBU (0-1, 0-1) scored 16 points in the second quarter to take a nine-point, halftime lead. The host team eventually scored 14 straight points and took the lead with 13:20 to go in the fourth quarter on a 47-yard score from Searcy.
Carter McElhany returned the ensuing kickoff 99 yards to put OBU back ahead until East Central staged a 92-yard drive on the last possession and won it on Ogura's kick.
Sergio Kennedy threw for 279 yards with a touchdown, and Searcy ran 19 times for 174 yards for East Central. Lyric Tredwell had 108 yards on the ground with a touchdown for OBU. Nate TenBarge also had a rushing score for the Tigers, who lost a season opener for the first time since 2006.

Adam Parker and Hezekiah Harris combined to throw four touchdowns for Southern Arkansas (1-0, 1-0) during its 35-point thrashing at Wilkins Stadium in Magnolia.
Parker finished 13 of 15 for 105 yards with 2 scores while Harris went 10 of 14 for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Muleriders piled up 537 yards of offense. SAU also ran for 304 yards, led by Tory Lambert's 72 on 11 carries. Arkez Gomez and Katrevion Thomas added rushing touchdowns.
Chad Mascoe had two touchdown passes for Oklahoma Baptist (0-1, 0-1).

Roy Thompson picked up his first victory as a head coach and Arkansas Tech (1-0, 1-0) outlasted the Bulldogs at Flex-Chem Field in Weatherford, Okla.
Jack Dawson was 13 of 25 for 162 yards and had 2 touchdown passes for the Wonder Boys, who used a 15-point fourth quarter to break the game open. Dawson had a touchdown run, as did Dominic Feliciano for Arkansas Tech, which led 17-10 after three quarters.
Malik Roberson scored a rushing touchdown for Southwestern Oklahoma State (0-1, 0-1).

Victor Taylor caught three passes for 109 yards and a touchdown for Southeastern Oklahoma State (1-0, 1-0) in a 31-point beating at Paul Laird Field in Durant, Okla.
Luke Hohenberger threw for 156 yards while DJ Brown, Jonathan Cobb and Levay Duncan all had rushing scores for the Savage Storm. Southeastern Oklahoma State took a 20-6 lead into halftime before running away in the third and fourth quarters.
Tavion Faulk was 13 of 18 for 155 yards and 1 touchdown for UAM (0-1, 0-1). Tyler Webb had a touchdown pass, but he also threw two interceptions.
