On Thursday, Feb. 20, the former Bachelor, 43, and his wife Lauren Burnham, 33, whom he met while on the show, revealed they have plans to grow their family in a video shared on their YouTube channel. However, in order to do that, Arie had to undergo a vasectomy reversal.
"We said that we were doing having kids like, I don't know, a couple years ago," Lauren explains. "But I think we're going to do it one more time."
"As you guys know, I got the vasectomy after the twins were born, and ever since then, I don't know, I think I rushed it," Arie explains. "Honestly, it's more on me. I think having the twins was hard at first."

Lauren goes on to say that six months into the couple having twins, Arie scheduled his vasectomy "without consulting me first."
"And then I kind of remember a moment of watching Senna, and she's like...all of our kids are like the best age right now," Arie continues. "And I just felt like, 'Dang it, I think we could do this again.'"
While Arie is fully on board with having another little one, Lauren admits it's taking her some time to come around. The couple is already daughter Alessi, 4, and 2-year-old twins Senna and Lux.
"It's funny, he fully convinced me that that chapter's closed and I'm like, 'Okay,' and came to terms with that. And now have to just get out of that again," Lauren says. "So I'm getting there. Arie is totally there. I'm getting there."
Last April, Arie revealed that he wasn't ruling out adding more kids to his family in a Q&A on his Instagram Stories. The dad of three was asked by a fan if he and his wife Lauren, whom he met on his season of The Bachelor, would want more kids in the future.
"A year ago I would have said 100% no way but im feeling more and more like I rushed the vasectomy," Luyendyk Jr. wrote over a picture of Alessi. "Don't know yet what the future holds but rn im loving this stage with them."
