Bills Fans Donate $10,000 to Mark Andrews Charity Following Death Threats

The Baltimore Ravens' season came to a screeching halt in their Divisional Playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. The Ravens scored a touchdown in the waning moments of the fourth quarter and were going for a two-point conversion.

Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw a dart to tight end Mark Andrews who caught the ball but fumbled it right before falling into the endzone. Baltimore would lose 25-27, and Andrews was lauded on the internet by plenty.

Jackson also commented on the situation, initially showing his emotions after the loss by stating:

"Every time we in situations like this, turnovers play a factor," Jackson said while slapping his right hand into his left. "We can't have that s---, and that's why we lost the game. As you can see, we're moving the ball wonderfully ... it's hold on to the f---ing ball. I'm sorry for my language. This s--- is annoying. I'm tired of this s---."

However, he was quick to also defend Andrews following the emotions.

"We're a team. First half I had two turnovers," Jackson said when asked about Andrews. "It's a team effort. He's been busting his behind, making plays for us. . . . All of us played a part in this game. It's a team effort. I'm not gonna put that on Mark because he's been battling all season, he's been doing great things all season."

The issue is Andrews was hit by tons of unnecessary death threats following the drop, which led to "Bills Mafia" proving why they are some of the nicest fans in the world of football.

Not only did Bills fans set up a GoFundMe for Andrews' charity, but they have banded together to raise over $10,000 so far.

The charity was started by Nicholas Howard and the statement on the GoFundMe page reads:

"As many of you know Ravens TE wasn't able to catch the game tying 2 point conversion and upset Ravens fans. On top of that the TE has been receiving death threats and nasty comments after his performance last night. We want Bills Mafia to donate to Marks charity for Juvenile diabetes. Let's reach a goal of at least 5k. Please repost this! LINK TO DONATE WILL BE IN OUR BIO @thebuffalobrief on IG."

At the time of this writing, donors have raised $16,278 of the $18,000 goal, from 681 donations.

The money will be donated to Andrews' charity, which is dedicated to children with Type 1 diabetes.

Though Andrews might be dealing with the heartbreak of dropping the game-tying two-point conversation, he might take solace in knowing that Bills fans are doing something very kind.
