Carl Froch has already been offered the Darren Till fight, but turned it down for one reason.
'The Cobra' has been retired since he knocked out George Groves in Wembley Stadium 11 years ago and has yet to be tempted back into the squared circle.
While Froch has not accepted offers to fight the likes of Jake Paul, Till has now ramped up callouts of the Nottingham fighter to entice him back in the ring.
His third-round knockout win over Luke Rockhold at Misfits 22 ended with a callout and ringside conversation between the former UFC and ex-super middleweight world champion.
The 48-year-old Froch responded after the insane knockout; however, he was not fazed by the words of 'The Gorilla' and did not seem interested in the fight unless he received hefty compensation for returning from retirement.
No formal offer has been given to the legendary British fighter, but he was previously offered a Misfits clash with the Scouser earlier in the year.
In a video posted to Froch on Fighting, the Hall of Famer revealed there was an offer on the table in December to take on the 32-year-old at their first show of the year in January, although he never accepted the offer.
He said: "I was actually offered the fight with Darren Till. Mams Taylor phoned me up and said to me 'Look, I'll offer you the fight', not a bad little bit of bunce (money) really.
"I thought to myself I need at least four weeks in the gym and it was over Christmas and I'm busy with the family, I've been skiing, I've been travelling around and been doing a lot and I thought I'm only going to have a week actually from being back on UK soil to actually get in the ring.
"I thought one week's probably not enough even for 'The Cobra' former unified World Champ, Hall of Famer to go in there and bash up somebody who can't fight in the boxing ring like Darren Till."
After it was turned down by the former unified champion, Tommy Fury was confirmed as the opponent, until he decided to withdraw from the bout after Till threatened to use his MMA background in the boxing ring.
While he tried to stress that he was not calling out the crossover boxing star, he did mention how he felt the fight would have gone.
"I should have probably taken it to be honest because I think I only needed a couple of rounds of shadow boxing to deal with Darren Till," he claimed.
"He's not a fighter, he's not a boxer, he can stand there, he's got balance, he lines his jab up a bit, but honestly, it's a one-round job for 'The Cobra'.
"It's not happening, I'm not fighting. They sent a call out, don't any idiots coming back saying I'm calling out Darren Till, I'm not, but listen, it's an easy job for 'The Cobra'."
After a Fury withdrawal and Froch turning the fight down, Till was left to face the experienced crossover boxer Anthony 'Pretty Boy' Taylor in his Misfits 20 debut.
The former MMA stars clashed in January, when the former UFC title challenger got the better of Taylor, stopping him in the sixth round.
'Pretty Boy' was floored three times by his opponent over the six rounds before the referee stopped the bout.
