Giants emerging as betting favorites for Aaron Rodgers and Travis Hunter

The New York Giants are making headlines this offseason, emerging as the favorites to land both future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. With the NFL Draft approaching and Rodgers parting ways with the New York Jets, the Giants appear poised to make major moves to reshape their franchise.

After a disappointing two-year stint with the Jets, Rodgers is now looking for his next opportunity. While speculation initially swirled around the Los Angeles Rams, their decision to restructure Matthew Stafford's contract officially takes them out of the running. That shift has propelled the Giants to the top of the odds board as the most likely landing spot for the four-time MVP.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, here are the updated odds for Rodgers' next team:

Rodgers' 2024 season with the Jets showed flashes of elite play, finishing with 3,897 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. However, the Jets' 5-12 record and lack of playoff contention led to their decision to move on. Meanwhile, the Giants are coming off a 3-14 season that saw four different quarterbacks take the field. With Daniel Jones released, the team is searching for its next quarterback, and Rodgers could be part of the solution.

Not only are the Giants in play for Rodgers, but they're also one of the favorites to land college football's biggest star -- Travis Hunter. The two-way sensation from Colorado is projected as a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and the Giants currently have +275 odds to draft him, tied with the New England Patriots as the top destinations.

DraftKings lists Hunter's potential landing spots as:

Hunter, who became the first two-way Heisman Trophy winner in decades, was a dominant force at Colorado under Deion Sanders. Last season, he led the Big 12 in receptions and touchdowns, while also recording four interceptions and 11 pass breakups as a lockdown corner. His unique skill set has drawn comparisons to Charles Woodson and even Shohei Ohtani for his ability to excel in multiple roles.

The Giants hold the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, which could put them in prime position to take Hunter.
