Deloitte names David Mitchell as new Senior Partner in Glasgow

Deloitte has announced the appointment of David Mitchell as the new Senior partner for its Glasgow office, marking a significant leadership change in one of Scotland's key business hubs.

With more than two decades of professional services experience, Mitchell has been an audit partner at Deloitte since 2016.

Mitchell's main focus will be to support Deloitte's various business lines in Glasgow, aiming to drive sustainable economic growth in the region.

He is set to play a key role in enabling local businesses to capitalise on Scotland's energy transition agenda.

His responsibilities will extend to overseeing Deloitte's major UK engagements and fostering collaborations with local entrepreneurs, universities, incubation programmes, and sectors across the board.

As the leader of the Glasgow office, Mitchell will manage a team of 325 staff members at the Queen Street location. Under his guidance, the office will continue to contribute to Deloitte's national efforts.
