After reading about giants, conservative wackiness and the Smithsonian, I went down a rabbit hole reading about giants in America. What I found interesting were the newspaper accounts of all the interesting stuff that was discovered when ancient native american mounds were pillaged--skeletons in copper armor, etc. So now I'm really interested in weird archaeology and history of America--not the cable channel silly stuff about UFOs and the pyramids, or actual giants, but rather actual, academic, real archaeological finds in America (or elsewhere) that are just kind of strange or present interesting mysteries, and books about the same.
