From Spain: Roma prepare maxi offer for Carlo Ancelotti

Roma are serious about their pursuit of Carlo Ancelotti.

After a troubled season, marked by three different coaches (De Rossi, Juric and Ranieri) and a Champions League race that is now far away, Roma is aiming for a big name to relaunch its long-term project.

As happened in 2021 with José Mourinho, the club wants to rely on a coach of international caliber.

The big target is Carlo Ancelotti.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, the Friedkins are moving first hand to try to convince the Italian technician with a significant offer, both from an economic and sporting point of view.

A real all-in to bring Roma back to the top of Europe, with a coach capable of building winning teams.

The Giallorossi are counting on leveraging Ancelotti's strong bond with Roma, where he played from 1979 to 1987, collecting 227 appearances and 17 goals, winning four Italian Cups and a historic Scudetto.

It will not be an easy operation for the Giallorossi. Ancelotti aims to continue his cycle at Real Madrid, so much so that he has already declined the court of the Brazilian national team.

His future at the Bernabéu, however, will depend on Florentino Pérez's choices and the seasonal results.

Roma, aware of the difficulties, has nevertheless started contacts and will continue to try, dreaming of Carletto's great return to the Olimpico.
