KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- A Knox County woman accused of selling items online and not delivering them was detained in court Tuesday morning.
Brittany Lusk appeared in court Tuesday for a probation violation. Late last week, the Knox County Sheriff's Office and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office asked the public for help locating Lusk.
A judge ordered Lusk to be held without bond until her Feb. 4 court appearance.
Lusk faces charges of theft and using a computer to commit a crime dating back to October.
Lusk was first arrested on Jan. 2. A few days later, the Claiborne County Sheriff's Office reported arresting her on Jan. 7 at 1:42 p.m. She was then released three hours later at 4:46 p.m. The Union County and Grainger County Sheriff's Offices also arrested her on Jan. 7.
WBIR 10News received dozens of emails in late December from people who said they sent money to Lusk for items that hadn't been delivered. The emails shared a range of money spent from $100 to over $500. She had also been charged with using someone's Social Security number and other information to take out loans in a separate case. Lusk was on diversion for that case, meaning her behavior determines if the case goes away.
WBIR 10News found several police reports filed saying Lusk took people's money without fulfilling their orders.
