Charlotte Flair has been out of action from WWE since tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in a match against Asuka in December 2023. The Queen has been busy training for her return, and the rumor mill indicates it will happen any week now.
I guess I always envisioned that Flair's return would be a big surprise moment after being gone for over a year. Maybe something like that can still happen, but for now we'll have to settle for this underwhelming hype video that aired on tonight's (Jan. 17) episode of SmackDown.
WWE didn't announce a date when Flair will be back. Commentator Joe Tessitore simply mentioned her return, and then the show moved on from there.
