Lenovo announced several new ThinkPad laptops and accessories on the opening day of IFA 2025 in Berlin, Germany, key among them a stunning new ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition in a limited edition Glacier White color. Lenovo also announced how it will transfer from the Unison smartphone integration utility now that it's been killed off by Intel.
Originally announced at CES 2025-I reviewed the 14-inch version this past March-the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition is now available in a limited edition Glacier White that is gorgeous in person. There are 14- and 15-inch versions. It ships in October at $1,889.00 and up.

The ThinkPad Thunderbolt 4 Smart Dock 7500 is the same as above, but with one 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4/USB-C port, and it can power a laptop up to 100 watts. It ships in October at $379.00.
The ThinkPad USB4 Smart Dock 5500 is the same as above but with one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports. It ships in October at 269.00 and up.
The Intel Unison-based Smart Share experience that Lenovo bundles with its Aura Edition laptops will transition to the new Smart Connect experience soon. "This evolution will deliver a more streamlined and unified experience across Lenovo Aura Edition systems, enabling effortless cross-device control and tap-to-share functionality," Lenovo says. "Users will enjoy seamless sharing of both full-resolution photos and videos, all through a consistent, intuitive experience designed to bridge digital ecosystems with ease."
