MIAMI -- No.1 Notre Dame moved one step closer to an ACC title on Thursday by dominating Miami 82-42.
The Irish played suffocating defense in the first half, holding Miami to just 13 first half points.
Notre Dame was led by Sonia Citron who scored 19-points, while also holding Miami's top scoring threat Haley Cavinder to just 8, more than ten points below her scoring average.
The Irish also delivered a balanced scoring attack which included 18 points from Hannah Hidalgo, 14 from Olivia Miles and 13 from Liatu King. King also notched a double-double by grabbing 13 rebounds.
Notre Dame has now won 19-straight games, including a 15-0 mark in the ACC.
The Irish can clinch the ACC regular season championship with a win over 2nd place NC State (13-2) on Sunday.
